Clay Sharpe

Co-Founder/Partner

Portrait image of Mr. Clay Sharpe

Clay Sharpe began his aviation journey in the United States Coast Guard, originally intending to stay in the maritime field. That changed when he was introduced to the world of aviation and quickly developed a strong passion for flight.

Eager to pursue this new direction, Clay enrolled in Aviation Machinist Mate School, where he became a skilled mechanic working on multiple airframes. He also served as a drop master and observer aboard the Falcon 20, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

During his service, Clay earned his FAA ratings and certificates, setting the stage for a civilian aviation career. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After a brief stint in the airline industry, he found his true calling in corporate aviation.

With more than 26 years of experience, Clay has held a wide range of roles across aviation, including aircraft maintenance, sales, and flight instruction. He has flown as a Co-Pilot, Captain, and Chief Pilot for various local flight departments.

Craig Gamble’s passion for aviation took off in the early 1990s while working at a Birmingham-based FBO, where he quickly found himself drawn into the world of airplanes and aviation culture. That early exposure set the course for a lifelong career in flying, aircraft ownership, and aviation business.

Craig is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned a marketing degree that now complements his work in aircraft sales and acquisitions throughout the Southeast. He has owned multiple Cirrus SR22s, is highly versed in the entire Cirrus product line, and holds a type rating in the Cirrus Vision Jet.

A skilled and experienced pilot, Craig carries commercial, instrument, and multi-engine ratings. Over the years, he has ferried numerous Cirrus aircraft across the country—including repeated west-to-east coast deliveries—giving him a deep operational understanding of the brand’s capabilities.

An interesting footnote in his aviation journey: Craig was one of JP Dice’s very first students, a connection that highlights just how long he has been engrained in the regional aviation community.

Today, Craig brings a blend of hands-on flying experience, market knowledge, and professionalism to every aircraft transaction, guiding clients with the same passion that sparked his aviation career decades ago.

From a young boy, Nick Gregory has had a passion for airplanes and meteorology. He knew that one day he would be a pilot. After getting his first television meteorology job with CNN in Atlanta, Nick earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 1982 which would then be followed by an Instrument Rating, Commercial Certificate, and ultimately and Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Since he loved aviation so much, Nick wanted to be able to share his passion with others and in 1994 decided to become a CFI and CFII. In 2008, Nick joined Performance Flight, a Cirrus Platinum Training Center located at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY. Not long after joining Performance Flight, Nick became a Cirrus Certified Factory Instructor Pilot (CSIP) and then took on the role of Chief Pilot, overseeing the training on the Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft. Since joining Performance Flight he has given over 3,200 hours of instruction in Cirrus Aircraft with a total of close to 4,000 hours of dual given in a variety of aircraft including Cessna 172s and 182s, Piper 28 and 32 series, Aerospatiale TB-9, TB-10, and TB-20, and the Grumman Tiger to name a few.

With a need for Designated Pilot Examiners, Nick decided to apply for a slot and in 2015 became a DPE. He is authorized to give the Private, Commercial , and Instrument practical tests along with CFI Initial and CFII check rides.

Nick has owned several aircraft starting with a Piper Archer, a Piper Lance, a Twin Cessna 340, and a Cessna 421 Golden Eagle and is closing in on 6,000 total hours.

In 1982, Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, VT. He was the morning meteorologist for CNN from 1982 until the end of 1986 when he joined WNYW-TV Fox 5 in New York City as their Chief meteorologist, a position he continues in to this day.
